Eligibility criteria for the scheme –

  • Residential details – As the scheme has been introduced in Maharashtra, only the victims who meet with an accident in Maharashtra are eligible
  • Income details – The victim has to give details about income to justify their eligibility for the scheme
  • Provision of insurance scheme – As part of the scheme, the beneficiaries will be given the help of rupees 30000 that they can use for medical help in nearby government or private hospital
  • Treatment procedures covered – Under the scheme, benefits will be given for free treatment facilities for 74 procedures. It includes facilities like the intensive care unit, fracture issues and gets suitable meals in the hospital

Exclusion list under the scheme

For railway and industrial accidents, the scheme will not cover-up. If an individual suffers an accident problem during daily wage works, they are not included to be covered up for the scheme benefits.
